1. What Jaanch is

Jaanch is a platform where people in Pakistan share their experiences with phone numbers, accounts, sellers, agents, landlords, employers and other businesses, and look them up before paying. Reports and reviews are written by users. Jaanch moderates them but does not verify every claim as fact.

2. No guarantee

A verdict (No reports, Caution or High risk; in Roman Urdu: Saaf, Dhyan se or Khatra) summarises what was reported and how much evidence was provided. “No reports found” does not mean a number, account or business is safe. Always take your own precautions before paying.

3. Your content

4. Businesses

Any business can claim its page after verification and reply publicly to reviews and reports. Verification confirms who runs the business; it is not an endorsement. Jaanch never removes, hides or reorders content in exchange for payment.

5. Disputes and takedowns

Anyone can dispute a report. We review every dispute and reply within 2 working days. Content showing private information is hidden within 24 hours of a valid request.

6. Moderation and removal

We may edit out private details, reject or remove content, and suspend accounts that break these terms or the community guidelines, or where required by Pakistani law.

7. Liability

Jaanch is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, Jaanch is not liable for losses resulting from decisions you make using information on the platform.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 as amended.
